Your Pre Treatment Consultation
We love to meet you with your Free Consultation. This is most often done via a telephone call.
The purpose of this is to learn of your desires and expectations and for us to determine together which is the most appropriate method of procedure to assist you with your goals in the quickest fashion possible.
During the free consultation we will ask you some simple medical questions to ascertain if you are a candidate for any procedure. This will range from: Any skin conditions?, History of epilepsy to weight etc.
Chaperone’s are invited and welcome.
What to do Pre-Treatment:
- Have a good shower and remove any body lotions
- Do not apply moisturisers / makeup / lotions or tanning solutions
- Please remove any/all jewellry
- For those wishing Aqualyx treatment (which permanently destroys fat cells) you will need to apply a generous amount of skin numbing cream to the area being treated 1.5 to 2 hours before your treatment. This is due to the nature of the procedure using fine grade syringes to deliver the solution subcutaneously.
- We recommend a product called Anesten cream which has a high level of Lidocaine which is a powerful anesthetic. You can find this online easily.
What to wear:
Below is a guideline, whatever you choose to wear its important that you feel comfortable and relaxed. We do have plenty of towels to cover untreated areas during your procedure.
- For abdominal area, lower back and chin: Comfy tracksuit / leggings / shorts / tops
- For hips, thighs (inner or outer): Swimsuit / Bikini / Shorts / comfortable under garments
- For upper back and arms: Sports bra / Bikini / Comfortable tracksuit
- For buttocks: Swimsuit / bikini / comfortable under garments / swim trunks
Who can't have procedures:
Anyone:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- With diabetes
- With kidney, bladder or Liver problems
- with heart problems
- With skin conditions in the area of treatment
- With severe epilepsy
- With very high/low blood pressure
- With acute infections / diseases

F.A.Q
Does Laser Lipo, RF Lipo, Cavitation or Suction hurt?
There is no pain from these procedures.
In the area being worked upon you will feel the sensation of heat during treatment.
We do apply cooling gels to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
Does the Aqualyx procedure hurt?
Given Aqualyx is administered via subcutaneous injections using a fine grade 30g needle, some mild discomfort may be experienced post procedure.
However, we will make sure you have correctly followed the guidance during your consultation relating to numbing cream being applied 1.5 to 2 hours pre treatment on the area you wish to be worked upon to minimise any potential discomfort.
It is absolutely normal post procedure to experience:
* Some reddening to the skin
* Some minor swelling or bruising
* A mild ache
These symptoms are only temporary as the Aqualyx does its work and they do subside very quickly.
Aftercare is vitally important for best results - what to do!
Avoid food for 1 to 3 hours. This promotes the body to use the released fat from the cell as energy.
10 to 20 minutes of cardio (i.e. a good brisk walk) will assist your lymphatic system to expel the released fats from your body.
It is imperative to drink 1.5 to 2 letre’s of water per day. This is to hydrate your body and Stimulate the lymphatic system into removing released fats from your body via your urinary system.
Maintain a good healthy clean diet generally.
Exercise at least 3 times a week for general well being.
